Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

1) Information about the collection of personal data and contact details

This Privacy Policy applies to the Glitch mobile application and related website pages. It explains how personal data is handled when you use Glitch.

Personal data means any information that can identify you directly or indirectly.

The controller responsible for data processing is:

Alper Yazagan
Bengi sk. 8/1 Erenkoy mh. Istanbul / Türkiye
Email: alperyazagan@gmail.com
Tel.: +905357306875

The controller is the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.

2) What data does Glitch collect?

Glitch is designed to keep relationship and cycle information on your device.

The cycle dates, relationship details, preference notes, memory entries, and important dates you enter in the app are stored locally on your device. Glitch does not require an account and we do not operate our own cloud backend or database for storing this relationship data.

We do not have access to the cycle dates, memory notes, preferences, or relationship details stored locally in the app.

However, limited technical, purchase-related, and support-related data may be processed by third-party services used to operate the app, as described below.

3) Local data storage and deletion

Data you enter into Glitch is stored locally on your device. We do not sync this data to our own cloud server.

Depending on your iOS settings, local app data may be included in device or iCloud backups managed by Apple. Glitch does not control Apple's backup systems.

Deleting the app removes locally stored app data from the device, but backup copies, if any, are managed through your Apple/iCloud settings.

4) Contact

If you contact us by email or another support channel, we may process the personal data you provide, such as your name, email address, message content, and any other information you choose to include.

We use this information only to respond to your request, provide support, and handle related technical or administrative matters.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to your request under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your contact relates to a contract or subscription, the additional legal basis may be Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

We delete contact-related data once your request has been handled, unless legal retention obligations require us to keep it longer.

5) In-app purchases and subscriptions

Glitch offers in-app purchases and subscriptions through Apple's App Store. Payments are processed by Apple.

We use Adapty to manage paywalls, purchase validation, subscription status, access rights, and related app functionality. Adapty may process limited technical and purchase-related data, such as subscription status, product identifiers, transaction or receipt information, device or installation identifiers, and app interaction events necessary to provide subscription functionality and improve purchase flows.

We do not send your locally stored cycle dates, relationship details, memory notes, preference notes, or important dates to Adapty unless this is explicitly stated in the app.

For more information about Adapty's privacy practices, see: https://adapty.io/privacy/ and https://adapty.io/end-users-privacy/.

Apple may also process purchase, subscription, device, and account-related data according to Apple's own privacy practices and App Store terms.

6) Rights of the data subject

Where applicable under data protection law, including the GDPR, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access under Article 15 GDPR: You have the right to request information about the personal data we process about you.
  • Right to rectification under Article 16 GDPR: You have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to deletion under Article 17 GDPR: You have the right to request deletion of your personal data where the legal requirements are met.
  • Right to restriction of processing under Article 18 GDPR: You have the right to request restriction of processing under certain conditions.
  • Right to notification under Article 19 GDPR: If you request rectification, deletion, or restriction of processing, we may be required to notify recipients to whom the data was disclosed, unless this is impossible or involves disproportionate effort.
  • Right to data portability under Article 20 GDPR: You may have the right to receive personal data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, where technically feasible.
  • Right to withdraw consent under Article 7(3) GDPR: If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.
  • Right to lodge a complaint under Article 77 GDPR: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority if you believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully.

Because Glitch stores cycle dates, memory notes, preferences, relationship details, and important dates locally on your device, we may not be able to access, export, correct, or delete that local app data on your behalf. You can manage or delete local app data directly within the app or by deleting the app from your device.

7) Right to object

If we process your personal data based on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to this processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation.

If you object, we will stop processing the relevant data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or unless the processing is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

If your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time. If you object, we will stop processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

8) Children

Glitch is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

9) Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
